Right About You
Lyrics
RIGHT ABOUT YOU
Mark Patterson & Barney Doyle © 2022

I was born beneath a "Wrong Way" sign
Played the ponies, turned dollars to dimes
I've been wrong about a million times
But I know I'm right about you

I've been head over heels a thousand times before
Tied the knot with three and damned near four
Gave 'em all that I had and they took me for more
But I know I'm right about you

I ain't big on critical thinking
That's where I tend to go wrong
My forte is medicinal drinking
And pouring my heart out - in a song

I'm on the wrong side of every call
Deal me in and I'll bet it all
I've made more bad choices than I can recall
But I know I'm right about you
Well just maybe I'm right about you
Oh I'm praying I'm right about you
